Eli Hernandez is a New York based mixed media artist whose vibrant work explores the human condition and experience. With a B.F.A. in illustration from the School of Visual Arts, she’s been honing her bold storytelling style. Crafting art that is rich with emotion and meaning.

Inspired by Japanese manga, 90s grunge, and b-boy graffiti, Eli blends gouache, digital media, expressive lines, and vivid colors with a gritty texture to create dynamic pieces. Her work has been shown throughout galleries across New York City and Westchester. Including Westchester Community Colleges award winning International Voices in 2017, the Castle Gallery in Port Chester, and the SVA’s Mental Health Poster Project at the Flatiron gallery in 2024. She’s also poured her heart into solo shows like the Scrapyard in 2019, and Explorations at Peekskill’s Bean Runner Café in 2023.

Interested in self publishing, Eli successfully crowdfunded her art books “Sketch Addict” and “Inkling”, carving out a strong following of support to finance her future projects. Currently, she’s the Art Director, colorist, and letterer for Devils Reign. Where she manages social media, schedules conventions in New York and California, and assists in finalizing the graphic novel. Building a buzz for the next Devils Reign Kickstarter Launch.

On her downtime, Eli loves sketching, retro gaming, reading, and a damn fine cup of coffee that keeps her creative stream flowing.
