Eli Hernandez is an artist based in New York. She creates artwork that hits home psychologically and emotionally to share different aspects of the human condition. Growing up with Japanese manga, 90s grunge and B-Boy graffiti has had a hand in her style. Exploring the different aspects of life through the application of expressive lines, bold color and gritty textures, shows there is light in the darkness, we just have to find it.

Projects include her art book “Sketch Addict Vol. 1” and is currently the colorist for the indie comic, “Devils Reign”, bringing its horror to life.

Earning her A.A.S. in Visual Arts at SUNY Westchester Community College in 2017, Eli was able to hone in her storytelling abilities as well as her aesthetic to create more impactful images. She has also achieved her B.F.A in Illustration at the School of Visual Arts.

During downtime, you can find her playing video games, reading or having a damn fine cup of coffee.
